Call Before You Dig
Homeowners have many reasons to dig on their property, such as improving drainage or installing sprinkler systems and other improvements. Before you do any major digging in your yard, it's a good idea to know the areas in your yard where you shouldn't dig. Hitting an underground main with hand tools or power equipment can be an inconvenience at best.
ESP has joined several other utility companies to form a damage prevention program called Sunshine State One Call of Florida. At least 48 hours before you dig, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, call 811 when calling from Florida and 1-800-432-4770 when calling from outside Florida. A representative will come to your property to locate and mark the natural gas line. There is no charge for this service.
